Job Position: Program Manager (Operations-PLDP)
Location: Churu and Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan)
Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) – A Piramal Initiative is working to transform the Education System in India. We aim to create a generation of school leaders who are empowered with skill to create large-scale, systemic impact. KEF is involved mainly in projects across Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Founded in 2008, we have progressed and grown under the leadership of a dynamic team with rich and diverse experience in Education and Leadership. We have projects currently being implemented in more than 1000 schools in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra with 250 fellows, impacting more than 2,50,000 children through the Principal Leadership Development Program (PLDP) and the Piramal/Gandhi Fellowship. We are also in the process of piloting the District Transformation Program (DTP).
The Gandhi Fellowship, an intensive 2 year leadership program for youth from India’s leading institutes with exposure to rigorous work at grass root level and a plethora of experiences which trigger self-change and skill development. It transforms them into leaders who want to make a difference in society at a large scale.
KEFs Principal Leadership Development Program is an in-service leadership training program for elementary, government school principals that aims to develop the mindset, knowledge and leadership skills required to improve learning outcomes for children and quality of education in their schools. As a pioneering program on school leadership, PLDP has already found recognition from the government at the national level and is supported by noted funding partners.
KEFs District Leadership Development Program is aimed at developing and enabling Education Officers at block , district and state levels and other Govt. Stakeholders to foster learning outcomes of children and change in schools in their block/district/state.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion to bring large scale change in the public education system of India, with strong Project implementation and operational skills to support our leadership and pedagogical practices on the ground as Program Manager.
Reporting to the Program Director of the location, the Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of the Principal Leadership Development and Piramal/Gandhi Fellowship Programs and the target achievements of Program Leaders of Student Learning Outcomes.
He will be directly responsible for facilitating a redeeming transformation in 180 government schools with a team of 5-7 Program Leaders and 25-35Fellows. The PM will also be responsible for ensuring the growth and leadership development of the Program Leaders and Fellows reporting to them.
The PM will get the space to hone his entrepreneurial abilities while devising innovative strategies &initiatives to create social change while working in an open, reflective team environment with other young and energetic professionals.
The role will expose them to the dynamics of leading a team of motivated, talented youngsters to createsustainable grassroots experience while also influencing a multitude of other stakeholders to create a rich impact in a challenging and fast-paced work environment.
Creating And Achieving Operational Objectives By Contributing Information And Recommendations To Strategic Plans And Reviews; Preparing And Completing Action Plans; Implementing Program Ensuring Productivity, Quality, And Efficient Stakeholder Management; Resolving Problems; Completing Process Audits; Identifying Trends; Determining System Improvements; Implementing Change.
Managing The PLDPOperationsteam While Leading A Team Of 5 To 7 Program Leaders And 25-35 Gandhi Fellows For 125-175 Government Schools In The Territory.
Work Closely With Team Members (Including Fellows) To Address Day To Day Obstacles In Dealing With Programs Implementation.
Managing Stakeholders (Like District Transformation Program Teams, Fellowship Quality Managers, Program Design, Marketing, Program Design, Gandhi Fellowship, TNMP Etc.) By Creating Good Rapport And Strong Relationship With The Stakeholders.
Providing Goal Orientation And Helping Develop The Program Leaders.
Building And Managing Relations With GovernmentOfficialsto Facilitate Program Implementation (Supporting Program Leaders Who Are Constantly Engaged With Government Officials).
Ensuring The Implementation Of Tools Related To Fellows, HMs And Teachers.
Tracking School Development By Recording Progress Of Project In Own Block/Zone And Creating Related Documents; Participating In Weekly/Monthly Meetings For Team Review, Information Sharing, Etc.
Managing The Collection And Collation Of All The Data By Fellows, Schools, PLs And Sharing The Reports Based On The Analysis Of The Data With Program Director.
Supporting Various Operational Activities At The Location Such As Data Analysis, Workshop Designing Etc.
Managing Additional Functional Roles Based On Interest And Need: Curriculum Design Support, HM Leadership Training, Workshops Etc
Experience: 8-20 years’ experience in Team Management; Team handling; People Management; Youth Engagement; development sector; coaching/mentoring young people (18 -25 years); training; Psychology/Counselling; working with government; change management/leadership development.
Between 5,00,000 to 6,50,000 INR CTC Yearly based on skills, experience and qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Or Master’s degree in any discipline. Graduates with relevant years of experience may also apply.
Language Proficiency: Good Written and Oral communication skills in Hindi and English
