The Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy (CSIP), that aims to be the foremost Centre in India, for research and capacity­building towards the critical advancement of social impact and philanthropy. The Centre’s work will be focused on four major pillars:

● Research

● Capacity Building

● Congregation for Social Sector & Philanthropists

● Student Engagement and Promotion of the Social Sector.

About the Mother Teresa Fellowship:

The fellowship is to support driven Young India Fellows who are keen to work in the development sector with a clear social impact motive, on a full time basis. The fields can range from education, rural development to women empowerment and more, as long as there is clear social impact. The fellows typically work in a nonprofit or are social entrepreneurs. The fellowship is in its 4 year having supported 24 fellows. Currently, we are in the process reimagining the program­ nudging it from a scholarship program to a more holistic fellowship­ with structures for capacity building, mentoring, peer ­learning and networking. The Program Manager will have the complete ownership of managing the fellowship end­ to­ end.

Location: Sonepat, Haryana.

Compensation: ​Based on experience

Work Experience : ​4­ - 5 years, preferably in the social sector

The Assignment and Role:

● Review and track the progress of each fellow through quarterly reports, monthly check­ins, field visits and make recommendations on fellows to the Centre Director and the Board at CSIP.

● Project manage all aspects of the fellowship which includes, communication and outreach, selection of fellows, handling grievances, managing external relationships, organising induction and graduation events.

● Track the program data and raise additional funds for the program, as required.

● Work with the lead facilitator to conceptualize and curate content for a two­ week induction program and a 3 day mid ­year check­in/graduation ceremony.

● Build relationships with relevant people in the sector to help connect fellows for sector

specific knowledge, funding, strategy and operations.

● Mentor and liaison to the CSIP Social Sector Club for UG and YIF students.

Ideal Requirements:

● Highly entrepreneurial

● Well networked in the social sector space

● Working knowledge of how to build a social enterprise and challenges of working in the

nonprofits
