2. Guidelines for applicants for the post of Programme Manager


Job Description: 

Programme Manager manages the learning and development activities of ASAP in Schools and
Colleges. Programme Manager will be responsible for the implementation of training for the enrolled
students in selected institutions. He/She will plan, schedule all training programmes offered under
ASAP. The appointment on contract basis shall be made initially for a period of 1 year, which will be
renewable for successive terms as per the requirements of the project.

Responsibilities

His/her jobs includes; but not limited to;

 Schedule and implement Skill Development programmes in schools and Colleges

 Co-ordinate efforts to ensure the full utilization of training facilities, processes, resources and equipment

 Enroll students for ASAP courses with the support of ASAP co-ordinators

 Develop Partnership with Industries

 Co-ordinate with Skill Training Providers to administer training programmes

 Facilitate students internship and Placements

 Resolve and respond to training issues and queries from various stakeholders including students, parents etc.

 Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processess to improve the training programmes offered.

Job Requirements

 Candidates who have completed a full time Post-Graduation Programme in MBA/ MSW or Graduates who have attained a full-time professional Degree, having duration not less than 4 years

 A team player with strong managerial , analytical and networking skills and excellent communication skill.

 Should be pro-active ,self-motivated and self-directed

As a part of this project , it is recruiting a Project Administrator.The details are as below:

Position- Project Administrator (INDTUK Project)

Location: Bangalore, India

Salary/benefits: 1200-1500 Euros Gross,according to candidate’s experience.

Duty station: Bangalore, India

Contract Length: 12 months, renewable (the project has a total duration of 4 years)

Starting Date: 1st June 2016

Role and Responsibilities(Specific but not limited to)

- She/He is responsible for the proper administrative and financial management of the project, ensuring compliance with the procedures requested by the Donor and the internal procedures of ACRA;

- Oversees the proper accounting of the project in accordance and coordination with the Project Manager, making sure that the documentation meets the rules set by the Donor, the internal procedures of ACRA and the laws and regulations in force in the country; - Manages the local staff employed in the project, in compliance with local regulations on employment and taxation;

- Supervises the proper management of assets in the site and all the material made available for the action and the related documentation; - Supports the Project Manager and the Administrative Desk in managing relationships with partners and funding bodies in relation to administrative issues related to the project. - Contributes to the proper functioning of the control and management system of the project - Contributes to the administrative training of local staff under his/her responsibility.

- Manages the archive and all the documentation relating to the implementation of the activities; - Prepares the reporting to be submitted to the Donor and the auditor, the related documentation and participates in the final audit of the project.

Objectives:

· The project is correctly managed from an administrative and financial standpoint, in accordance with the procedures of the Donor, ACRA and country regulation. The economic and financial reports are submitted on time and in the manner required by the Donor, within the framework of ACRA procedures

Qualification and Skills:

- Relevant University Degree in Accounts/Finance. An additional degree in Law preferred.

- Administrative Management and Accounts Management experience of at least 5 years in International Cooperation Projects, preferably funded by the EU;

- Knowledge/ Experience in handling FCRA and Indian Tax regulations

- Experience working in complex contexts, specifically in Asia.

- Proven communication, interpersonal, negotiation, promotion and leadership skills

- Experience of managing teams directly.

- Fluency in English language, both written and verbal

- High Computer Literacy

Eligibility criteria

 Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in project management

 Experience in public health projects would be preferable

Roles and Responsibilities

 Oversee to ensure collation and submission on data/records in the requisite data formats
