Description A pilot milk fortification project is being implemented under South Asia Food and Nutritional Security Initiative (SAFANSI) of World Bank. The Project is being implemented by NDDB as the Consultant of World Bank. SAFANSI project is envisaged to pilot a business model for fortified milk production and to generate options for consumer promotion and its scaling-up. We are looking for young and dynamic Project Officer for the project.

Profile Summary
​To assist and provide support the Project Coordinator in effective coordination and implementation of SAFANSI project

Key roles and Responsibility


Broad Job Responsibilities
 

·  Support in organising milk fortification awareness/ orientation workshop

·  Support in development of materials/ tools and impart  training to
   participating Milk Unions and Producer Companies to fortify milk

·  Organise training and capacity building workshop

·  Organise dissemination workshops to share outcomes of market entry for
   fortified milk and options for scale up of the pilot business model.

·  Prepare Progress reports as per guidelines periodically.


Experience 2 year(s)
Qualification Post Graduation in any discipline with minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the area of dairy. However, candidates with Full time MBA/ MSW/ PGDM-Rural Management will have an added advantage.

Technical Skills / Attributes
Experience in coordination or implementation of projects independently.
Managerial Skills / Attributes
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-Motivated and able to work independently or with minimum guidance
Remarks


The position is on a fixed term employment (FTE) for 23 months compensation will commensurate with experience.

The maximum age limit for the position(s) is 30 years (As 01 August 2017).
