Position Title : Junior Research Fellow
Location : IIPH, Gandhinagar
Duration of Position : One year or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. Deliverables:
JRF will take care of field level activities.
Contact with government officials and health staff and planning for data collection as per government planning for ANC mothers.
Training field staff.
Obtaining and managing household lists and maps for each area.
Informing local authorities about the survey.
Supervising and recording daily activities.
Ensuring data quality.
Sending progress reports to supervisor.
Coordinating with community partners and agencies.
Preparing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Assisting with data collection, monitoring and reporting requirements related to enrollment and social services.
Recommending program modifications for continuous improvement of services.
Demonstrating initiative in fulfilling performance responsibilities.
Perform or assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor to achieve the project goals.
Internal Liaison
JRF will have to stay at district head quarter.
Qualification:
Essential
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Social science, social work, public health.
Desirable
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Social science, social work, public health.
Experience:
Essential
At least 3 years.
The person must know Gujarati, Hindi and English language.
Desirable
More than 3 years.
